Eastman House and Museum

George Eastman was a very interesting man. His company Kodak created photography as we know it today. Before his inventions, Photography required huge pieces of equipment that were very expensive and required complex processing. His product could be hand carried, take multiple photos, then sent off to be processed and the camera reloaded. The Eastman House and the attached theater and museum is a must-do. Spring has not arrived, so the gardens are bare. I will visit again once the gardens are in bloom and will add to this article. For now, enjoy these images.

The Eastman House

The conservatory is the grand room of the house.

The Keyboard of the main pipe organ. It is one of the largest pipe organs in the world and the largest ever to be in a private home.

An organist might not always be around, so these organs had player rolls as well. Here are a few that are in the house.

The Cafe

A cafe and gift shop sits beside the theater entrance and between the house and museum.
